Two main populations;
(1) S. Mauritania, s. Mali, Senegambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, s. Niger, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria.
(2) Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, w. Angola, Central African Republic, s. Chad, s. Sudan, sw., n., and ne. Zaire, Uganda, w. Kenya and nw. Tanzania.
