N. and ne. Australia;
Fragmented distribution:
(1) Nw. Australia (Derby Sewage works, Fitzroy River and n. shore of Lake Argyle w. to the Fitzroy River) and ex. n. Northern Territory (Aligator River, Kakadu National Park).
(2) E. Northern Territory, w. Queensland (Norman River, Normanton s. to Boulia) and ex. ne. South Australia (Barkly Tablelands at water bores visible from the Barkly Highway, Panie Burra Bore on the Birdsville Track during summer).
(3) Se. Queensland (Curtis Is. off Rockhampton s. to Broad Sound).
