Range

(1) Ural Mountains and Aral Sea e. to the Altai Mountains from e. Turkmenistran, n. Afghanistan to sc. And se. Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
(2) E. Kazakstan to the upper Yenisey, and w. China (Sinkiang, Ningsia), Mongolia, s. Siberia in Transbaicalia, and nw. Manchuria.
Winters s. to Pakistan and w. India.
