Range

Antarctic Peninsula and proximate islands in s. Atlantic Ocean;
Antarctic Peninsula (Graham Land on Trinity Is., Uruguay Is., Paulet Is. and Cockburn Is.), is. in the Bransfield Straits and Is. of the Scotia Arc at least including the South Shetlands and Elephant Is. Birds on the South Orkney and South Sandwich Is. may belong to this species, but are more frequently assigned to the South Georgia Shag.
