N. and e. Australia;
Nc. Northern Territory (w. to Darwin) to c. Queensland (n. to Mt. Isa and Atherton Tablelands), New South Wales (Sidney area, Deniliquin and wildlife refuge s. of Hay around January) and n. Victoria (Clunes State Refuge and Kingower during October and November).
Disperses to ne. Queensland (Cape York Peninsula), s. Northern Territory, and w. to c. South Australia.
