Range

Main breeding range is in the w. United States from c. Oregon, s. Idaho to ec. Montana and w. South Dakota s. to nw. Mexico (n. Baja), s. Nevada, nw. and ec. Arizona, c. New Mexico and w. Oklahoma.
Occasionally disperses outside it usual breeding range to coastal California, w. Oregon, w. Washington, sw. Canada (sw. British Columbia), n. Idaho, nw. Montana, w. Great Plains, c. Texas, se. Arizona and nw New Mexico.
