Two widely separated (9000km) populations;
(1) Portugal (Baira Baixa region along upper Rio Tejo) and w. Spain.
(2) C. and ec. Asia in se. Siberia, and n. Mongolia.
(3) Ne. Asia (middle and lower Amur River region).
(4) Korea.
(5) Manchuria.
(6) E. China (Liaoning to Fujian and Sichuan).
(7) N. China (Shaanxi).
(8) W. China (Gansu, Qinghai and nw. Sichuan).
(9) Japan (Honshu and Kyushu).
