(1) Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Borneo and Bangka Is.
(2) Batu Is. and Mentawi Is.
(3) W. Philippines (Palawan Is., Calamian Is., and Balabac).
(4) Lesser Sundas (Sumbawa, Flores, Pantar, Lomblen and Alor Is.)
(5) N. India, Burma, Thailand, Indochina and s. China.
(6) Ne. peninsular India.
(7) Andaman Is. and Nicobar Is.
Introduced to Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean and Puerto Rico.
