Range

(1) N. Europe from Russia to w. Mongolia s. to s. France, Italy, Balkans, and n. Turkey.
Winters in s. Europe and nw. Iran.
(2) British Isles.
(3) Nw. Europe (nw. Norway).
(4) Azores and n. Iberian Peninsula (n. Spain).
(5) Azores (e. end of San Miguel core breeding area from June to August is in native forests around the summit of Pico da Vara and vicinity of Salto do Cavalo during the post-breeding season).
(6) W. Turkey to ex. s. Russia in the Caucasus.
(7) Ne. and n. Iran.
(8) S. Siberia from n. Altai and Sayan Mts. e. to Lake Baikal, and Transbaicalia, n. Mongolia and probably Manchuria in n. Heilungkiang.
Winters in Manchuria and Amurland.
(9) Kamchatka, coasts of the Sea of Okhotsk, and n. Kuril Is.
Winters in Japan and n. China.
(10) Ussuriland and Sakhalin Is., c. and s. Kuril Is, Korea and Japan (Hokkaido and c. Honshu).
