C. Panama from the Tocumen Airport to the Bayano river and e. Darien (lower Tuira River Valley), Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, Ecuador, Brazil (Bahia, Chapada Diamantina, Parana, Rio Iguazu), Peru (banks of the Tambopata River, Madre de Dios, Puno), Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay to s. Chile (Aisen, Rio Cruces Sanctuary, Magallanes) and c. Argentina (Chubut).
