S. and e. China from s. Manchuria s. to Kwangtung, Kwangsi, w. Yunnan and w. to se. Szechwan, Hainan, Taiwan, Ryukyu Is., n. Pakistan (Indus Valley), Nepal, India, Maldive Is., Sri Lanka, Andaman and Nicobar Is., Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Indochina, Malaya, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lesser Sundas (Lombok), Borneo, Sulawesi and the Philippines.
