(1) Ne. United States in sw. Maine (Popham Marsh and Scarborough Marsh) s. to sc. New Jersey.
Winters s. to s. Florida.
(2) E. United States from coastal s. New Jersey s. to e. Virginia (Chincoteague on the Delarva Peninsula), and e. North Carolina (Pea Is. and Roanoke Is.).
Winters s. to the Gulf coast of Florida.
