Range

Sumatra, c. Malay Peninsula and w. Java;
Restricted range;
Fragmented distribution;
Breeds mainly in Sumatra.
Disperses to the w. Malay Peninsula (Kuala Gulu), e. Java (a few sometimes can be seen along the road to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport), Bali, Sulawesi, c. Cambodia and Cochinchina (s. South Vietnam).
