(1) C. and e. Brazil (c. and n. Mato Grosso, Maranhao, Lago Ipixuna-Acu, Piaui, Bahia s. to Rio Grande do Sul).
(2) N. and e. Colombia (Rio Sinu e. to the base of the Santa Marta Mountains, w. Guajira, s. in the Cauca Valley to Valle, Magdalena Valley to nw. Santander, e. of th Andes s. to w. Caqueta and Vaupes), ne. Ecuador e. to Venezuela (s. to the s. bank of the Orinoco in Bolivar and nw. Amazonas, Puerto Ayacucho), Guyana, Surinam, nc. Brazil (Roraima, Rio Branco region, Rio Uracoera, w. Bahia in the Valley of the Rio San Francisco at Lago de Sobradinho).
