Ex. sw. Western Australia (Benger, Moora). Se. Australia from the ex. se. Northern Territory, sw. and s. Queensland (Lake Bindegolly near road bridge), New South Wales (Murray-Darling Basin and the New South Wales Riverina, Leeton Swamp, Lake George, Lake Bathurst), Victoria (Werribee Sewage Works), e. South Australia (Bool Lagoon, ICI Saltworks and Big Swamp) also Kangaroo Is.
