Range

S. South America;
S. in the Andes of c. Chile from Bio-Bio, Malleco, Valdiva (Lipela Pass) and Llanquihue, then s. from Chiloe, the Guaitecas and Chonos Is. and along the w. coast to the Beagle Channel and Cape Horn Is. and in s. Argentina s. from Neuquen and Rio Negro to Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn. The Falkland Is.
Winters n. to c. Chile (Colchagua) and ne. Argentina (s. Buenos Aires).
