(1) S. Canada from s. British Columbia to w. and s. Ontario and s. Quebec s. in the United States to Costa Rica and West Indies (n. Bahamas (Abaco), Cuba, Isle of Pines and Jamaica).
This race has been introduced to Puerto Rico.
(2) E. North America s. from New England.
Winters from the c. United States and Bahamas s.
(3) Panama, Venezuela, Margarita Is., Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam and Guiana and Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina)) to n. Argentina.
(4) Colombia to Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Is.
