Range

Ussuriland and Korea; Se. China;
Two populations;
S. Ussuriland and Korea. C. and e. China (s. Shensi, Honan, Anhwei and Chekiang s. to Yunnan, Kwangsi and Kwangtung) and Taiwan. Korean birds migrate through w. Japan (w. Kyushu) and the Ryukyu Is. (Okinawa, Mt. Katuu-Dake).
Winters in ex. se. China and Hainan s. through Indochina, the Philippines, Sulawesi, the Sundas (Bali), Moluccas to w. New Guinea and the Andaman Is. and Nicobar Is. Occasionally winters in w. Micronesia.
