W. Africa to South Africa; Ethiopia;
Two populations;
(1) Cape Verde Is. and from Senegambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, s. Cameroon (Yaounde), Equitorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Central African Republic, n. and ne. Zaire, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya (coast, w. and c. highlands), Tanzania (including Pemba Is. and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Angola, n. Namibia and South Africa (Cape Province).
(2) Se. Sudan, n. and w. Ethiopia.
