Sw. Venezuela (Orinoco region, w. Amazonas), se. Colombia (w. Meta, Vaupes, upper Orinoco River), e. Ecuador, e. Peru to n. and e. Bolivia (Pando, Beni, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz) and e. s. of the Amazon through Amazonian Brazil to s. Amapa, Para and Guiana.
