Halmahera, Morotai, Ternate, Becan, Ambon and recently on Seram Is., Aru Is., Yapen Is. and w. Papuan Is. (Misool, Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati) and New Guinea to the Torres Straits and the D'Entrecasteaux Archipelago (Normanby Is. and Goodenough Is.).
