Range

S. New Guinea. Australia. Tasmania;
Three populations;
(1) S. New Guinea (Digul River to Fly River) and Australia (s., w. and nw Western Australia, nw. and s. Northern Territory then from c. Queensland to New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
(2) Tasmania.
