C. Central America s. tropical South America;
(1) S. Mexico (Guerrero, Oaxaca, Veracruz and Quintana Roo) s. on the Gulf-Caribbean slope to Nicaragua and along both slope of Coata Rica and Panama to w. Colombia and w. Ecuador.
(2) E. Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, Amazonian and e. Brazil (n. Maranhao, Pernambuco, e. Bahia, e. Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro), e. Ecuador, e. Peru and ne. Bolivia (Pando, Beni, Santa Cruz).
