Range

W. and c. Africa;
Two populations;
(1) Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Ghana e. to s. Nigeria and nw. Cameroon.
(2) S. Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, n. and ne. Zaire to w. Uganda.
An isolated population occurs in n. Angola.
