Range

Tropical Africa s. of the Sahara;
(1) Senegambia, s. Mali, s. Niger, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Zaire, Central African Republic, s. Sudan, w. Ethiopia and s. Somalia, Uganda and Kenya (coastal lowlands).
(2) S. Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Angola, ex. n. Namibia, n. and w. Botswana, Zimbabwe and e. South Africa (Transvaal, Natal).
