India; Sri Lanka; Se. Asia; Greater Sundas; S. Philippines; Taiwan;
Highly fragmented distribution;
(1) Sri Lanka.
(2) Sw. India (w. Ghats from Goa and n. Mysore to Kerala).
(3) Nepal, nc., ne. and e. India (Garhwal e. to Assam and e. Ghats in Andhra Pradesh ) and probably Bangladesh to s. China (s. Szechwan, Yunnan, Kwangsi) s. to Indochina, Malay Peninsula and Hainan Is.
(4) Taiwan.
(5) Sumatra.
(6) Nias Is.
(7) Java and recently on Bali.
(8) Borneo (Tanjung Puting National Park, c. Kalimantan).
The Philippines:
(9) Palawan and Balabac to Calamian Is. Possibly Natuna Is.
(10) Negros, Samar, Leyte and Mindanao Is.
(11) Polillo Is.
