(1) Se. Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), e. Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay and n. and c. Argentina to n. and c. Chile n. to Atacama.
(2) S. Chile s. from Concepcion and s. Argentina s. from Rio Chubut to Tierra del Fuego and the Cape Horn Is.
Introduced to Easter Is. in the s. Pacific Ocean.
