Highly fragmented distribution;
(1) Angola, Zambia, ne. and e. Zaire, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, wc. and sw. Kenya (Soy-Webuye-Kitale area, Lumbwa, Koru, Lolgorien and nw. Mara Game Reserve).
(2) S. Tanzania and n. Malawi.
(3) N. Malawi, ne. Zambia and South Africa (Transvaal, Wakkerstroom, Natal and ne. Cape Province) and Lesotho.
