Range

Se. Asia;
Two populations;
(1) S. China (s. Yunnan) to s. and e. Burma and nw. and sw. Thailand and Laos.
(2) N. and c. Vietnam and probably birds in sc. China (Guangxi).
(3) S. Vietnam.
Ne. India (Assam) has been included in the range of this species, but this seems to be in error.
