The West Indies. C. South America s. to se. South America;
Four populations;
(1) Cuba and Jamaica.
(2) Hispaniola and Puerto Rico.
(3) S. Mexico (Michoacan, Gerrero, Puebla, Veracruz and Chiapas), Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua to n. Costa Rica.
(4) Nc. Colombia.
(5) S. Costa Rica, Panama to e. Panama Province and Coiba Is., Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, e. Brazil, ex. e. Bolivia, Paraguay, ex. n. Uruguay and n. Argentina (Tucuman, Santa Fe and Buenos Aires).
