Zaire, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, w. and s. Kenya, Tanzania w. across Zambia, Malawi, se. Zaire to c. and s. Angola then s. in c. Namibia, n. Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and e. South Africa (n. and c. Transvaal and e. Cape Province). Formerly in Natal.
