Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Central African Republic, n. Zaire, s. Chad, Sudan, nw. Uganda, Egypt (at least formerly in the Nile River Basin), Ethiopia and Eritrea. Nw. Angola and w. Zaire.
