Restricted range;
Two populations;
(1) Sc. Colombia (s. Huila at the head of the Magdalena Valley at Cueva de los Guacharos, San Adolfo, Rio Aquas Claras Acevedo).
(2) Se. Peru (Cuzco in the Marcapata Valley at the Hacienda Cadena (900m) 15km e. of Quincemil, cloud forests above the Rio Tavara on Cerros del Tavara (800m) and at the Amazonia Lodge on Cordillera de Panticolla (900-1350m), Puno and Madre de Dios).
