Middle East and c. Asia;
Fragment distribution;
(1) Turkey (Konya Basin), Near East and Transcaucasus to s. Afghanistan.
Winters along coasts of the se. Mediterranean Sea, Iran, Arabia and the Red Sea coast of Somalia.
(2) Transcaspia from Turkestan and se. Kazakstan.
Winters s. to South Africa.
(3) N. and w. China (c. Inner Mongolia) to S. Mongolia, the Altai and sw. Siberia.
Winters in Taiwan and Australasia s. to Australia (w. Western Australia (Monkey Mia), Northern Territory, Queensland (Cairns Esplanade), New South Wales, Victoria, se. South Australia) and Tasmania.
