Interior of Australia;
Three populations;
Sw. Australia in c. and se. Western Australia. C. Australia in s. Northern Territory (Alice Springs in the Tanami Desert) and South Australia (open plains w. of Windorah in the Channel Country, Birdsville Track and Cook Airfield). Ec. Australia in sw. Queensland, w. New South Wales (Deniliquin) and nw. Victoria.
