Range

Siberia;
Nc. and e. Russia from the Ural Mountains and Altai e. through Siberia and Tranbaikalia to Mongolia, Amurland and the Sea of Okhotsk.
Winters to India, the Maldives, s. China, se. Asia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines and w. Australia (w. and n. Western Australia and ex. nw. Northern Territory). Occurs in small numbers in Saudi Arabia, e. Africa and Aldabra Is.
