(1) E. of the Andes in e. Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, Brazil (Bahia), e. Ecuador, e. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and n. Argentina s. to Mendoza, Cordoba and Buenos Aires.
(2) S. South America in Chile (Atacama) and s. Argentina from Neuquen and Rio Negro s. to Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn. Falkland Is.
