Ex. ne. Siberia in Anadyrland and Chokotski Peninsula. W., c. and se. Alaska and nw. Canada, c. and s. Yukon and nw. British Columbia.
Winters s. to the w. United States, n. South America, Hawaiian Is. (Hawaii), Pacific is. and e. Australia from e. Cape York Peninsula, Queensland (Great Barrier Reef islands, Redcliffe and North Stradbroke Island near Brisbane, Caloundra) to New South Wales.
