Range

Ex. ne. Asia and nw. North America;
Ne. Siberia (e. Chokotskiy Peninsula) and nw. Alaska including St. Lawrence Is. and Nunivak Is. and coast from Bristol Bay and the Kashunuk River to Seward Peninsula, Point Barrow and Camden Bay.
Winters s. along the Pacific coast from n. California to n. Peru and along the Atlantic coast from s. New Jersey, Gulf of Mexico and West Indes to Surinam.
