Range

S. South America;
Breeds along the coasts of s. Chile from Arauco (Plage de la Serena) to Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn and s. Argentina (Ushuaia).
Disperses n. along both coasts of South America to Peru and Ecuador(?) along the Pacific coast and to n. Argentina and Brazil (Bahia) along the Atlantic coast.
