Middle East, Arabia and ne. Africa;
Red Sea off Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Socotra Is., Gulf Aden, ne. Indian Ocean, Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf along the coasts of Kenya (Kiunga Is.), Arabia and Iran e. to Pakistan. Madagascar and Mascarene Is.
Disperses along the coast of e. Africa including Tanzania, Zanzibar and Pemba Is.
