Range

S. South America s. of the Tropic of Capricorn;
Se. Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina s. in Santa Fe, Entre Rios and Buenos Aires to Patagonia, rarely to Santa Cruz and Chile from Aconcagua to Llanquihue (Rio Cruces Sanctuary).
