Range
Australian waters;
Four populations;
(1) Western Australia n. to Derby and e. to Port Albert including the Peron Peninsula and Carnarvon Harbor.
(2) S. Australia in South Australia (ICI Saltworks and Port Gawler) and Victoria (Port Phillip Bay, Werribee and the salt marsh between Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads), King Is., islands in the Bass Strait and Tasmania.
(3) New Zealand (North Island).
(4) New Caledonia.
