Range

S. Atlantic and sw. Indian Oceans;
Breeds on South Georgia, South Sandwich, South Orkney, South Shetland Is. and the Antarctic Peninsula (Antarctica), as well as Bouvet, Prince Edward, Marion, Crozet, Kerguelen and Heard Is. Small numbers breed in the Falkland Is. and possibly at Isla Noir, Isla Buenaventura, Isla Desolacion and Diego Ramirez off s. Chile.
Desperses n. to se. Australia, islands off New Zealand, Tierra del Fuego, s. Argentina (Santa Cruz and Chubut), Tristan da Cunha and South Africa.
