Range

Andes of w. South America;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) Sw. Colombia (Narino) and Ecuador (Antisana).
(2) Peru, c. and s. Bolivia (La Paz, Cochabamba, Oruro, Potosi, Chuquisaca) to c. Chile (Cajon del Maipo) s. to Colchagua and nw. Argentina from Jujuy to Santa Cruz.
