(8) Burma to Sumatra (Bangka Is., Belitung Is., Riau Archipelago and Lingga Archipelago), Borneo, Lesser Sundas e. to Babar and Palawan.
Introduced to Mauritius, Sulawesi, the Moluccas, the Bismarck Archipelago (New Britain), Australia (ex. sw. Western Australia, ex. se. South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, e. New South Wales to ne. Queensland), New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, the sw. United States (s. California) and nw. Mexico (nw. Baja).
