Range

Wc. Mexico;
N. Mexico (Sierra Madre Occidental, El Carricito, c. Chihuahua and Durango).
Formerly ranged sporadically n. to sw. United States (Arizona, Tonto Basin in the summer and the Chiricahuas in the winter) and possibly sw. New Mexico.
