Range

Ne. South America;
Three populations;
(1) N. Colombia.
(2) N. Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago.
Introduced to the West Indies (Curacao, Jamaica and Barbados).
(3) Guyana, Surinam and Guiana (Awala-Yalimapo).
(4) N. Brazil.
(5) Nc. and E. Brazil.
