Ex. s. Central America and nw. South America;
E. Panama (Panama Province, Darien), and w. Colombia (on the Pacific slope n. to Serrania de Baudo, Cesar, Norte de Santander) s. to sw. Ecuador (n. Los Rios). Two isolated populations in ne. Colombia and nw. Venezuela (nw. Zulia, c. Merida, sw. Trujillo).
