Two widely separated groups of islands;
Rimatara (Cook Is. or e. Tubuai Is.) and Kiritimati (Christmas) Is., Tabuaeran (Fanning) Is. and Teraina Is. (Washington) Is. (n. Line Is.).
Introduced to Kiribati (Line Is.).
